GX: The Guard Experience visited Bad Voodoo to kick off deployment coverage for the national magazine.

Mid-April, Keith Kawasaki managing editor of GX: The Guard Experience, visited Bad Voodoo to kick off deployment coverage for the national magazine. Here is a brief message of from Keith:

"We at GX are siked about following the Bad Voodoo Soldiers throughout their deployment. These are definitely some of the most high-speed guys I've ever met. I was amazed at their skill level and experience. Many have already served with the top dogs of Active Duty: 3rd Infantry, The Big Red One, 82nd Airborne, and more. They're bringing to this deployment all that real knowledge of the battlefield. Further, 2LT Ricardo Ferrelland SSG Toby Nunn have their men so charged up and ready for the fight, that you can't help but get sucked into that excitement. I was honored to spend two days on the ground with them as they trained at Camp Shelby. I spoke with just about each platoon member personally and was humbled by each Soldiers' dedication to this mission. Their inspiring confidence and intelligence gives me, as an American civilian, great confidence in the might of our military. You can expect amazing things from this platoon, as you can expect GX to be covering them every step of the way! May God bless the men of Bad Voodoo and all their families back home. Thank you for your service!"
